TPARC Expands to Alberta

TPARC has officially expanded to Alberta! We have received interest from amateurs working for TELUS in Alberta in joining TPARC and expanding our network.

We have appiointed Curtis Bidulock, VE6AEW, as our Alberta Co-ordinator.

Welcome to our new members across the Rockies!

TPARC is a Registered Charity

Effective July 18, 2011, the TPARC became a registered Canadian charity.

After a long struggle to get the correct documentation in place, we were finally successful. A big THANK YOU to all those who put in the many hours necessary to make this milestone possible.

Finally, after a number of trips to Dog, Promontory, and Greenstone, the UHF trunks between all these site were fully restored in Mid-July 2009.

After a trip to Silverstar to replace the trunk radio there on August 13, 2009, full network connectivity from Victoria to Vernon has been re-established.
